Events: Audits, Pipe Bursts, Collapses & More
Every known CRACK shift event (productivity audits, workplace inspections, pipe bursts, scaffold collapses, wealth redistribution, supply shortages, quotas, power outages and sleep gas) and how to handle each.
HATCH CORP management likes to keep things interesting. Events interrupt shifts and change your priorities. Several have their own achievements.

Structural Collapse, in detail
Status: Community-reported.
- A player who hunted it for hours reported that the collapse is triggered by one of the egg agitation events.
- Removing the bolts at the bottom of the scaffolding did not cause it.
- So: build scaffolding high, stand on it, and let agitation build until a collapse event fires. Chill Mode disables scaffold breaking.
Out Cold
Fall 10 meters after the sleep gas knocks you out. Stay high on scaffolding near shift end and let the gas get you there. Only 1.0% of players have it.
Events in Chill Mode
Chill Mode (v1.0.43) removes pipe bursts and scaffold breaking, removes penalties for failed events, stops workbot breakdowns, and halves egg agitation. See Game Modes.
Triggering events on purpose
The developer console reportedly has trigger_event <index>, but cheats disable achievements until restart, so it can’t be used to farm them.

How do you get Structural Collapse in CRACK?
Be on the scaffolding when it collapses. Players report collapses are caused by one of the egg's agitation events, and that removing the bottom bolts does not trigger it. Scaffold breaking is disabled in Chill Mode.
How do you pass a productivity audit in CRACK?
Meet the audit's production target before the timer ends. Passing unlocks Audit Passed and failing unlocks Corrective Action, so you can get both across two audits.
