Troubleshooting & Known Issues
Fixes for common CRACK problems: AMD graphics issues, missing calcite veins, DX11 crashes (Vulkan option), stuck 'Connecting…', softlocks, sound loss and motion sickness.
CRACK launched on 2026-10-26 and got four patches in its first two days. Most early problems are already fixed, so update first.
Graphics

Multiplayer & connection
- Stuck on “Connecting…”: since v1.0.35, hosting and joining time out after 30 seconds without a Steam connection. Restart Steam and retry.
- Dropped connections: v1.0.31 raised the Steam timeout from 10 to 30 seconds.
- Want to play without internet? Use Offline Mode (v1.0.43).

Other reports
- Loss of sound and startup issues have open threads on the Steam forums. No official fix is listed yet. Verify game files in Steam (Properties → Installed Files → Verify) and update GPU drivers.
- Mouse sensitivity on in-game screens has been reported. No fix is listed yet.

CRACK is stuck on Connecting. What do I do?
Since v1.0.35, hosting and joining give up after 30 seconds if no Steam connection is found. Check that Steam is online, restart Steam, and try again. Solo players can use Offline Mode.
